Become a fully qualified early childhood educator and develop skills in providing activities and care to children. You’ll learn to facilitate learning and play in order to enable children to achieve developmental outcomes
To achieve this qualification, the individual must have completed a total of least 280 hours of work in a regulated children’s education and care service in Australia as detailed in the Assessment Requirements of units of competency. The total number of hours may be applied collectively across all units of competency that include the requirement for workplace hours.

Entry to this qualification is open to individuals who hold a CHC30121 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or CHC30113 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care.
Students are also required to undertake a Pre-Training Review and a Language Literacy Numeracy and Digital Literacy Assessment.
These will assist with determining suitability and relevance into course entry and identification of any support needs.
The ability to obtain a Working with Children Check - Working with Children Check & Police Check required for industry work placement.
This Course is subsidised under the 2021-2023 Queensland VET Investment Program administered by the Department of Employment, Small Business and Training (DESBT).
