The CHCSS00130 Individual Support – Disability Skill Set is designed for individuals to develop knowledge and skills in core competencies that support the individual to empower their clients, develop continued practice, participate in the community, and provide effective support for individuals with disability. These unit competencies develop actual skills which are strengths-based. The completion of these core training units developed your capability to support independence, inclusion, and wellbeing for individuals with disability to a degree while still giving you credit towards your further and higher-level CHC Community Services qualifications. This skill set is specifically designed for disability support workers who wish to upskill and further their career in community services.
